පානදුර තොටුමුණ පළාත නමින් අතීතයේ හඳුන්වන ලද කළුතර දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ වත්මන් වාද්දුවට සමීප මොල්ලිගොඩ වලව්වේ(මොල්ලිගොඩ වලව්ව) උපත ලබා සමාජ හින්සන වෙනුවෙන් නොබියව ඉදිරිපත් වූ අසහාය විරුවෙකි.උපන් නාමය සුසෙව් හේවගේ ගිරිගෝරිස් ප්‍රනාන්දු (වඩා ප්‍රකට මවගේ වාසගම වූ ගිරිගෝරිස් පෙරේරා නාමයෙනි) තම මවගේ පවුල ඇතුලු ප්‍රදේශයේ වැදගත් යැයි කියාගත්තා වූ ගොවිගම සහ සලාගම පවුල් ව්‍යවස්ථා මගින් අඩු යැයි පවසන පවුල් සඳහා සිදුකළ අකටයුතුකම් මෙසේ විවේචනය කළ මෙතුමා සමාජ හිංසනයට ලක්වූ සලාගම කුලයේ (සලාගම කුලය) හින්න නැමති උපකුලයේ පිරිස් වෙත සමාජය හරහා නොලැබුණු වරප්‍රසාද ලබා දීමට කැපවීම කැපී පෙනේ.

Girigoris was the only child born to mother Dona Maria (යකුන්දූව හිටිරාළලාගේ දෝන මාරියා පෙරේරා ධර්මසේන ) and father Hamiel Fernando Vidane Arachchi in 1835 AD in Molligoda මොල්ලිගොඩ village of Kalutara district in Sri Lanka. As a child, he studied at Pothupitiyaපොතුපිටිය Protestant Church School(රෙපරමාදු පාසැල )and entered Gogarli Mixed College in Waskaduwa for his secondary education. After the death of his father, Vidane Arachchi became vacant and in 1880, he became Vidane Arachchi of Pothupitiya village. During this season, the "Salagama" caste(සලාගම කුලය) condemned the misdeeds done to the "Hinna"subcasteහින්න උපකුලය Together with the oppressed community raised their voice for their rights and took steps to strengthen their economy. He also gave them the right to manage the temple, which was in the hands of the farmers until then. Therefore Mr. Grigoris Ralahami went down in history as the caste deity of Hinna sub-caste(හිංග කුලයේ කුල දේවතාවා)
