සෝප් ඔපෙරා

සෝප් ඔපෙරාවක් යනු සාමාන්‍යයෙන් දීර්ග කාලයක් දිවෙන melodrama, ensemble cast, සහ sentimentality වලින් පිරුණු රූපවාහිනී හෝ ගුවන්විදුලි කතා මාලාවක් වේ.[1] "සෝප් ඔපෙරා" යෙදුම බිහි වී ඇත්තේ, පෙර දී ගුවන්විදුලි නාට්‍ය සඳහා අනුග්‍රහය දක්වා ඇත්තේ සබන් (soap) නිෂ්පාදකයන් විසින් වීම හේතුකොටගෙන ය.[2]
