The content of this article is not encyclopedic according to my view. This is about an ongoing legal case, which is in the preliminary stages. We still do not know the outcome of this legal case. Thanks for the comment and ongoing trials could be encyclopedic. Please go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/November_2010 and see the ongoing trials section. We could see a number of significant trials reported on wikipedia. Thus i will not agree with your remark to mark this article for speedy deletion. I went through all the entries in the Ongoing trials section of the current events of English Wikipedia. Yet unfortunately the material I saw did not inspire me to agree with you, Sadeepa. In the Ongoing section all the entries had two fields: country:article_name. When I clicked country link, I went to the article about the country. It was about the country and nothing was mentioned about any ongoing trial. When I clicked the article_name link, I went an article about a personality and in some instances within the article a subsection gave a small description about the ongoing trial. Yet the article was about the personality and not about the on going trial. None of the article-name articles pointed to whole & total articles about any of the ongoing trials.
Thus, here too I suppose you can have an impartial description about the ongoing trial as a subsection in an article about any of personalities involved, Sarath Fonseka, Mahinda Rajapaksa, Gotabaya Rajapaksa, or any other person. And if you like you can insert a link to the article under Current Events in Sinhala Wiki and under On going trails similar to what they have done in English Wiki.

Cases are important and this case is important in many aspects as well. It involves prominent personalities as accused and as evidence. Therefore it's wrong to mark this case for speedy deletion.
