අප්පුහාමි සිංහල විකි ලිපිය සම්බන්ධයෙනි

• අප්පුහාමි යන ලිපිය වෙබ් අඩවියකින් පිටපත් කර ඇති බව දුටිමි.
• එහි මුල් කතෘ DAMITHA_KASTURIRATNA විසින් මෙම ලිපියට සංස්කරණ 4 පමණක් සිදුකොට දැනට අක්‍රීය බව දුටිමි.
• MediaJet සහ Hkn89 යන සක්‍රීය පරිශිලකයන් දෙදෙන මෙම ලිපියට මෑකතදී දායකවී ඇති බව දුටිමි.
• අක්‍රීය මුල් කතෘට අමතරව සක්‍රීය දායකයන් දෙදෙනටද ඉක්මන් මකා දැමීමේ නිවේදනය යැවුවෙමි. මෙම මකාදැමීම පිළිබඳ අදහස් දැක්වීමට මෙම පරිශීලකයන් තිදෙනම එකසේ යෝග්‍ය බව සිතිමි.
• MediaJet වෙතින් ධන ප්‍රතිචාර ලැබුණු අතර ලිපියේ බහාලූ මකාදැමීමේ යෝජනාව ඉවත් කිරීම දක්වා එම ප්‍රතිචාරය ප්‍රබල විය.
• Hkn89 වෙතින් ලද ප්‍රතිචාරයෙන් පෙනී ගියේ ඔහු වෙතයැවූ නිවේදනයෙන් සිත් රිදීමකට පත්ව ඇති අයුරකි. ඔහු විසින් මුල් ලිපිය සංස්කරණය කොට වෙනත් මාතෘකාවකට ගෙන ගොස්ද ඇති මුත් ලිපියේ අන්තර්ගතය පිළිබඳ කිසිදු වගකීමක් දැරීමට නොහැකි බවක් කියයි.

Illegal Activities of user:Singhalawap

The user:Singhalawap is creating illegal criteria (The template he had used is provided for a different intention; Please see en:Template:Db) for speedy deletion and using them in specific articles. The Criteria for Speedy Deletion in this Wikipedia, විකිපීඩියා:ඉක්මන් මකාදැමීමේ උපමාන specifically indicated that the criteria which can be used for speedy deletion are only those cited in there. This creation of new criteria is without a consensus across the community. Hence this user who is also an Administrator is overstepping the mandate provided to him by the community. Merging with history

Dear Lee

When merging the article fragments by Felide we used to do that by cut & past the fragments in to a one identified (main) article. I continued to do so in merging Felide & other articles (mentioning that its a merging in the summery @bottom). But in a recent incident the user ශ්වෙත pointed out that my way of merging removes the history of one article. I think his argument is valid. In there a better way to merge 3 or more articles while merging the history of all 3 articles? If so, pls show me a link to read & learn about that.

Here's what I do:

1. Go to the article that's going to stay after the merge process and merge the contents.
2. Move it out of the way for the time being to "<article name>\Temp" (Without having a redirect).
3. Go to the other article and move it to correct title.
4. Delete it.
5. Move the "<article name>\Temp" to correct title.
6. Go to history tab and click on the "අවශ්‍යතාවය මකා දමනු ලැබූ සංස්කරණ x ක් නැරඹීමද නැතහොත් ප්‍රතිෂ්ඨාපනයද?"
7. Select the required history items and click "යලි පිහිටුවන්න"
