ඇත් තෝර, පෙති තෝර යන ගස් බෙහෙත් සහ මැල්ලුම් සඳහා භාවිතා කරන දේශිය ශාඛ වර්ගයි. තෝර පරිප්පු යනු කරල් හට ගන්නා ශාඛ වර්ගයකි. මෙම කරල් තුල ඇති ඇට පියලි කල කල්හී පරිප්පු (මයිසූර්) වැනි නමුත් ප්‍රමාණයෙන් මදක් විශාල කහ පැහැති සහ තරමක් තද ඇට වර්ග නිපදවා ගත හැක. මේවා උයා කෑමට හා වඩේ සෑදීමට භාවිතා කරනු ලැබේ. දැන් මට කියනවාද ඉහත ගෙන යෑමට හේතු. -- ශ්වෙත (talk) 16:09, 9 ජූනි 2011 (යූටීසී)[reply]

මේ ලිපියේ විදිහට තෝර පරිප්පු හැදෙන්නේ ගස් වල. ඒවා මසූර් පරිප්පු (මයිසූර් විය හැකියි) වලට ආදේශකයක්. මයිසූර් පරිප්පු හැදෙන්නෙත් ගස් වල මගේ හිතේ. එතකොට තෝර පරිප්පු ගස් නැත්තේ කෙහොමද? බොහෝ විට එක එක ප්‍රශ්න නිසා එක එක අය ලිපි වල මාතෘකා ගහෙන් ගෙඩි එනව වගේ වෙනස් කරනව. නමුත් ලිපියේ ඇතුලේ පරණ විදිහට. මේක ටිකක් අප්සෙට් වගේ. --- 112.135.199.196 04:42, 10 ජූනි 2011 (යූටීසී)[reply]
