Winter… yuck! We tend to complain about the winter season a lot every year. We agonize over the frigid the temperatures and the amount of snow we have to shovel off our driveways and pathways. But once we get past all the whining, winter does have a lovely effect on the city if you care to see it, offering spectacular scenes like this one at Minnehaha Falls. The climb up to get a peek behind the frozen falls can be a bit treacherous but well worth the effort. I myself fell in the mud in front of a dozen people. My Levis were muddied but worth the sacrifice.
