T සෛල යනු සුදු රුධිර සෛල වලට අයත් වසා සෛල වර්ගයකි. මෙමගින් සෛල මගින් ඇති කරන ප්රතිශක්ති කරණය සදහා කැපීපෙනෙන කෘත්යයක් ඉටු කරයි. මේවා අනෙකුත් වසා සෛල වන B සෛල සහ NK සෛල වලින් වෙන්කොට හදුනාගත හැක්කේ එම සෛල වල මතුපිට පෘෂ්ටයෙහි T ෛසල ප්රතිග්රාහක යනුවෙන් විශේෂ ප්රතිග්රාහක පිහිටා ඇති බැවිනි. මෙම සෛල වලට T සෛල යැයි හැදින්වනුයේ ඒවා හටගන්නා තයිමසය (Thymus) නම් ග්රන්ථිය නමිනි.
