පරිශීලක:Sri Lanka National Youth Parliament

The National Youth Parliament of Sri Lanka has been established to politically empower the youth community in Sri Lanka. It operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Government of Sri Lanka. The National Youth Service Council of Sri Lanka provides the necessary facilities to run the activities of this youth parliament.

The Sri Lankan Youth Parliament commence for the first time in 2011. The 5th Youth Parliament of Sri Lanka is currently functioning. It consists of 360 members. Pathum Ranasinghe Arachchilage is currently the Prime Minister.

A number of youth development projects in Sri Lanka have been carried out under the leadership of the National Youth Parliament. The Youth Parliament is currently working to present the Youth Parliament Act to the Parliament of Sri Lanka and to reform the youth policy of Sri Lanka. 22 Ministries can be identified in the Youth Parliament.

The current Minister of Justice, Public Administration, and Digital Government held by Nipun Mudalige [1].

A number of former Sri Lankan Youth Parliamentarians have now been appointed to positions of responsibility both nationally and internationally.
