ඡන්දස

කාව්‍ය ආකෘතිය හා සම්බන්ධ අංගයකි; ඡන්දස. කිසියම් කාව්‍ය වෘත්තයක අක්ෂර නියමය ඡන්දස යනුවෙන් සරල ලෙස හැදින්විය හැකි ය. මේ සම්බන්ධව පෙර අපර දෙදිග ම විචාරකයින්ගේ අවදානය යොමු වී තිබේ. අතීතයේ සිට ම සිංහල කාව්‍ය ශාස්ත්‍රයට ආවේනික ඡන්දස් සම්ප්‍රදායක් තිබුණු අතර ඊට සංස්කෘත පාලි ප්‍රාකෘත භාෂාවල ඡන්දස් සම්ප්‍රදායන්හි ආභාසය ලැබිණි.
