රේඩියෝ තරංග යනු ව්ද්යුත් චුම්බක වර්ණාවලියේ රේඩියෝ සංඛ්යාත කොටසෙහි පවතින තරංග විශේෂයකි. ස්කොට්ලන්ත ජාතික භෞතික විද්යාඥයකු හා ගණිතඥයකු වූ "ජේම්ස් ක්ලාක් මැක්ස්වෙල්" විසින් වර්ෂ 1865 දී රේඩියෝ තරංග ඇති බවට ගණිතමය ක්රමයක් මගින් සෛධාන්තිකව සනාත කරන ලදී.ආලෝක තරංග සහ රේඩියෝ තරංග, විද්යුත් චුම්බක තරංග ලෙසට අවකාශයේ ගමන් කරන බවටද ඔහු සමීකරණ කිහිපයක් මගින් පෙරයීම් කලේය.
