බඩගිනී (Baddaginnie) වික්ටෝරියා ප්රාන්තය-ඕස්ට්රේලියාව,කුඩා නගරයකි . ඒ is පිහිටීම on the Albury-Wodonga railway line, in the Rural City of Benalla, 12 kilometres south-west of Benalla itself on the old Hume Highway. It is situated in mainly flat unforested country, one kilometre west of Baddaginnie Creek. At the 2006 census, Baddaginnie and the surrounding area had a population of 460.[1]
George "Joey" Palmer, the 1880s Australian test cricketer died here on 22 August 1910.

බඩගිනී (Baddaginnie) නාමය මෙම නගරයට දී ඇත්තේ 1860 දශකයේ මෙම නගරය හරහා මෙල්බන් - සිඩ්න් දුම්රියමග තැනීමට දායකවුනු ලංකාවෙන් පැමිණි සිංහල සේවකයන්ය. අතීත පුරාවෘත්තයන්ට අනූව, මෙහි ජනතාව වෙත ආහාරපාන ප්රමාදවීම හේතුකොටගෙන ලාංකික සිංහල ශ්රමිකයන් විසින් ඔවුන්ගේ කඳවුර "බඩගිනී" යන ලෙස නම් කොට ඇත. තවත් මතයකට අනූව එහි සේවයෙහි යෙදුනු ලංකාවේ කාලයක් විසූ මිනින්දෝරුවෙකු විසින්, මිනින්දෝරු කන්ඩායම බඩගින්නේ සිටිම හේතු කොට ගෙන මෙම නම තබන ලද බව සැලකේ.

The town was surveyed in 1857, named after the nearby Baddaginnie Creek, but settlement was slow, a Post Office finally opening on 16 September 1879 [2]
